  1. I concur about these steps were taking in the development and usage of future technologies as well as the applications of current technologies. This makes me wonder how it will work out during the transition in thought between how we perceive knowledge currently as related to the real world and our senses, as compared to being able to process large amounts of data and draw conclusions out of particles of air containing new DNA sequences if you don't mind my metaphor. Its a strange new world we're approaching!

  2. Yea, facebook and myspace don't want any money...yet. It's only a matter of time before they charge you for uploading something. They already are trying to get money from you to send someone a gift, or to advertise something.
    I also agree with you that facebook does just want all the information about yourself that it could possible hold, to try and sell you things based on your interests. Honestly, that is a little frightening!
